I have arrived in India. That is about all the words I can muster up in my current state of mental clarity. HOWEVER, I am here in India and wanted all of my dedicated blog readers to know. I feel home here already....even though I have only been here for an hour and may be on the only person awake in the city (it's 4:00 a.m.). I'm home. God is so good to send His grace, peace, and mercy to me.

At the Creche
This is me and my friend Rafael. She is three years old. She is here at a creche or day home for children where she will be fed the only two meals she will eat in a day. This service is offered for free by christians for poor families who cannot pay for childcare. These children would otherwise be left home alone or on the street. Rafael and myself bonded. She followed me around all day. Adorable. Remember to pray for her and her family.

Mel~ You are AMAZING!! (Even though you are probably zombie tired right now!) I am so thankful that you arrived safely and are already finding India as 'home'.
The Lord has boldly brought you to my mind daily and I will continue to approach the throne for you and your mission there. I should begin to pray for India's people...they have no idea what they're in for! I bet some already sense a difference in the air even though they have not met you yet...the Spirit of Christ has freshly entered their country and is among them.
